Physique Magnifique originated in 1992 as a home based private training business. Our goal was to provide exercise and fitness in a family-like atmosphere that was non-intimidating to the old and new fitness enthusiast, yet challenging enough for the competitive athlete. The equipment consisted of an olympic bench, an olympic weight set, a single length mirror, and dumbbells of various weights. We began training clients out of our 1 car garage for different fitness endeavors and in three years were forced to expand to a larger home and a larger area in which to offer our services.

Business continued to expand as did our motivation to fully own and operate a complete fitness training center. In 1997 Thomas Swartzell, a good friend and previous employer who had owned and operated Weight City Gym for over 20 years approached us with the idea of purchasing his establishment. We took immediate advantage of the opportunity which allowed us to offer the concepts of Physique Magnifique to a larger audience.

In 9 years, Physique Magnifique has grown from a simple free weight gym to a full service fitness facility that includes Hammer Strength, Icarian, Cybex, Star Trac, Keiser and Reebok cardio and strength training equipment.

We offer boxing, fighter's training, bike aerobics, Latin Dance aerobics, circuit weight training, Olympic weight lifting, children's classes, and personal fitness training.
